Scotch Islands Tasting

Louie Christensen provided a masterful tour of three unique scotches from the islands of Scotland! From increasing complexity and peatiness, they were: Jura 10 year, Highland Park Valkyrie and the Talisker 10 year. A slight majority preferred the Talisker over the others.

Summer Kickoff

As has been the case for many years, Bartender B & OFS "officially" declared that summer has begun with our annual viewing of "Rear Window." Eight other pubbers joined in the festivities. Here's three amigos that all have something unusual in common (other than their good looks of course).
St. Paddy's Party

Our annual tribute to the patron saint of Ireland began with Tucson Firefighter Shaun Hull on the pipes, followed by our annual hymn sing, then an impressive performance by beer quaffer, Tom Conner. The evening rolled on with watching "Waking Ned Devine" and fellowship. Thanks to all who came, in particular McMatt for bringing Guinness Stew, his wife Dana for the bread, Kelly Holmes' chicken, and the Bartender's wife for the beer cheese!
